Berlin Kilterboard Club Launch

Arc’teryx │SS25 Regional DACH Community Event

THE ASK

The Arc’teryx Kilterboard Club Launch was a part of the SS25 Regional DACH Community Event Series initiated by me as the first Arc’teryx DACH Brand Ambassador.

Sponsored by Arc’teryx, the Kilterboard Club concept was a project rooted in community and collective progression and carving out more localized climbing scenes within Berlin. Combining my background as an art director and multidisciplinary designer, I was given creative freedom to craft the concept, creative direction and visual language of the organization.

THE CONCEPT

Structure balanced with chaos.
The look and feel was boldly graphic and character-driven, drawing from vintage collegiate gym typography and sampling from a washed, timeworn palette. Playful characters personified holds and mirrored the climber’s mindset through each sequence.
Friction read as stubborn. Slopers felt elusive. Finishes landed triumphant.
Imagery prioritized honesty over perfection. Chalk, wear, and repetition
visible as proof of shared experience.

MY ROLE - CREATIVE DIRECTION, CONCEPTUAL DESIGN, ART DIRECTION, VISUAL DESIGN, GRAPHIC DESIGN, EVENT PRODUCTION, PHOTOGRAPHY DIRECTION
PHOTOGRAPHER - @OMARMZAKI

THE RESULT

A celebratory, mentorship led identity. Welcoming. Lived in. Less about individual mastery, more about collective growth and the culture that gathers around the wall.
